Organising to save Old Goa

In 2020, while Goans were subjected to a brutal lockdown, a politician began construction of an illegal mansion, on top of the ruins of the viceroy’s house at Old Goa.

Several departments and authorities had sanctioned the project. We set about working to educate people as to how the rich and powerful are able to bend the law to their favor through public rallies — the largest had over 5,000 in attendance.
